A Walter Bosse gardening gnome ornament, playfully complete with useable tools.

Made in Germany around 1965 the seated cheerful gnome holds a rake in one hand and a spade in the other. Somehow, the gnomes bearded face smiles wisely like that of a monk and evokes the gentle care and patience of bonsai cultivation.
