A non-matching pair of cylindrical tins in the style of German designer and craftsperson Hans Przyrembel. The heavy weighted containers were both created by the same manufacturer and, based on their appearance, date from the early- to mid-20th century.

Both jars have been expertly formed from brass which remains polished to the interiors, whilst the exteriors of the canisters are enamelled with coloured paint.
One tin is a light grey and the other a vibrant green. These two colours sit well together, which is just as well, as the lids of the vessels are interchangeable. Cleverly, the jars become different sizes depending on which lid you opt for.

Although evenly worn from age, the enamelled surface is stable meaning the canisters can continue being used to store anything you wish.
