An ombre 'STA' vase designed by Carl-Harry Stålhane for Rörstrand, Sweden, C. 1960.

The Rörstrand factory are revered for their exciting glazes and elegant shapes. This vase dates from around 1960; a time when the factory were leading the development of Sweden's modern aesthetic in ceramics.

The unusual glaze on this vase features a decorative ombre effect. The lower part of the piece is a light brown colour, whilst the upper half features a dappled & intricate sky blue glaze. The unconventional glaze ensures this object is an eye-catching and highly decorative addition to the home.
