When not in use, the six pieces stack together to form a single large hedgehog.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhile much of Bosse's earlier metalwork was produced by \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.artandutility.co.uk\/collections\/all\/baller-austria\" title=\"Baller Austria\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eHerta Baller\u003c\/a\u003e in Vienna, the hedgehogs date from the period following his move to West Germany in 1953, when he developed a new body of work for production outside Austria.
